Andotrans Team Torrentó is ready to start the ESBK season in Jerez

The Spanish Superbike Championship starts this weekend at the Circuit de Jerez – Ángel Nieto, where the first two races of 2024 will be held. The Andotrans Team Torrentó arrives at the test after having completed the preseason and is ready to start another course in one of the most important national competitions.

This season, the team based in Alcarràs (Lleida, Spain), will compete in the Supersport Next Generation category with two riders on board their new Yamaha R6.

Harry Khouri has renewed his contract with the team and will play his second season. The 20-year-old Australian completed a good campaign as a championship debutant and faces this year with great motivation to achieve more ambitious results. He will wear the number #43 on his bike.

Sviat Pylypenko is the novelty of this season. The Ukrainian rider is only 15 years old and already competed with the team in the last race of 2023, at the Circuit de Barcelona – Catalunya. This will be his first full campaign with the Andotrans Team Torrentó and he comes from the British Talent Cup with a great desire to consolidate in the ESBK. He will wear the number #88.

FERRAN TORRENTÓ
Team Manager

“We are very excited about the 2024 project. We will compete in Supersport Next Generation, a category that goes hand in hand with the rules of the SBK World Championship and this means great competition between teams and drivers.  We arrived in Jerez after completing a pre-season marked by injuries: Harry reached the official test and Sviat is back in this start of the championship. Our team will devote efforts to achieve great results and the goal is to give the best performance race by race. Once again, we are grateful to the sponsors who help us make this possible.”
