Andotrans Team Torrentó is ready to start the championship at Jerez

The Spanish Superbike Championship (ESBK) kicks off this weekend, 1st and 2nd April, with the first round at the Circuito de Jerez-Ángel Nieto. The Andotrans Team Torrentó has completed its pre-season and is now ready for another year in one of the most prestigious national championships in the world.

This year the team will compete in two categories with two riders. In SBK Oscar Gutiérrez will be the rider chosen to ride the Yamaha R1, repeating the number 99. The SBK rider heads into the first race of the year eager to prove himself in his third year in the category. Oscar has already won two championships in the Supersport Next Generation category with Andotrans Team Torrento. In the Supersport Next Generation category, Harry Khouri is the latest addition, joining the team with number 34. The Australian rider will make his debut in the championship on a Yamaha R6.

FERRAN TORRENTÓ
Team Manager

“We are very excited about the 2023 project. We will be competing in SBK for the second year with Óscar Gutierrez and, although we are aware of the difficulty of the category, we hope to compete for the championship. The other rider, Harry Khouri, joins the team after competing in WorldSBK last year in the Supersport 300. This season he will be riding our Yamaha R6 in the Supersport Next Generation category, where we aim to improve race by race. Finally I would like to thank all the sponsors who help us to make this possible.”
